The Johannesburg Leg is one of two official National Qualifier events, where the country’s top dance crews and battle dancers will compete to secure their place at the GLX World Championship Finals 2027 in Dubai, UAE.

Crews & Battle Dancers from multiple cities and provinces will showcase their creativity, skill, and stage presence — from established crews to rising talents. This is where South Africa’s finest step up.

Crew Division Top 3 Crews in each division qualify for Dubai
Battle Section Top 2 Battle Dancers/Teams in each section qualify for Dubai

The best performing crews & battle dancers from both South African qualifiers will represent the nation in Dubai. Only the elite advance.
