TINY TOTS JUNIOR TEEN AFRO-STYLES OPEN MINICREW JT LEGION OPEN LEGION
A MiniCrew consists of 3-4 members - no age restrictions
A JT Legion (17yrs & under) consists of a minimum 13 to a maximum of 40 members.
A Open Legion (no age restrictions) consists of a minimum 13 to a maximum of 40 members
NOTE: Amateur Division consists of TINY TOTS, JUNIOR, TEEN, OPEN & OPEN LEGION sections
A crew member whose age falls between two age divisions in the competition year (ending December 31) may compete in either division within that year.
Example: A 12-year-old turning 13 by 31/12/2024 may compete in the Junior or Teen division.
Likewise an 17-year-old turning 18 within the competition year (by 31/12/2024) can compete as a Teen or Adult.
Each participant’s proof of age (indicating date of birth) will be verified by GDS.
ABOUT SOUTH AFRICA QUALIFIERS
Best performing 6 dance crews & legions in each section will be selected to represent South Africa at the Inter-continental Dance Championship Finals.
Semi-finalists in each battle section will be selected to represent South Africa at the Inter-continental Battles Championship Finals.
